Savannah street style - Nomadic Style

It's true.  I was thinking long pleated, or billowing skirts, large rimmed hats and floral when I thought of street style in the south.  I'm not immune to thinking in stereotypes and I was going straight for the obvious; The southern Belle.

I couldn't have been more embarrassingly wrong.  Savannah is home to SCAD - (Savanna college of art + design) - it's a town teaming with creatives who don't take fashion seriously, its just their way of life.

It was Love Nomadic heaven!   I was stopped, more than once, by someone wanting to compliment something I had on (mostly the kimono).

I think the only 'southern Belle's I came across were people visiting.  Figured.

Savannah Street style: smart, creative, playful.
